Wolfe Wall teacher levels & benefits

To be eligible to attend the Essential Training, you need to prove that you have successfully completed a 200-hour teacher training course.

The Essential, Align & Flow trainings are each a total of 75 hours, 50 hours in-person & 25 online and include receiving mentoring & assessment.

1. Culminative course time: this is not the run time for each course, but the total amount of time you are accruing as you progress.

2. As a prerequisite for involvement: every level requires completion of the previous level/s and additional training as noted in the table. You should have successfully completed a recognised Yoga teacher training of at least 200 hours. If you are joining the Level 1 TTC for your personal practice, there are no prerequisites. Certification as a Level 1 Teacher is contingent on 100 hours of Wolfe Yoga Wall self-practice and/or teaching and assessment prep, with a minimum of 25 hours devoted to teaching Wolfe sequences and certification preparation.

3. Sign up for a Wolfe Yoga account on Teachable: this grants you access to our training system.

4. Assessment: assessment requirements are at each certification level in order for you to advance to the next level and in order to maintain our teaching standards. For example, if you wish to be certified as a Wolfe Yoga Wall Level 1 Teacher, you must pass the assessment.

5. Ongoing education: professional development credits are available for you to upskill and maintain your certification and Wolfe Yoga community membership

6. You can only call yourself a ‘Wolfe Yoga Wall Teacher’: once you are certified; until then, until then you have the level of a trainee teacher.

7. Access to our video platform by level: Our video platform has a variety of content, some of which supports the various training levels.

8. Receive mentoring: in addition to assisting a certified teacher, our trainee teachers are eligible to receive mentoring from a senior teacher

9. Access to studio space for practice: if a teacher fresh off their course does not have immediate access to a wall to practice on, all of our licensed studios make time available for trainee teachers to practice. This is subject to availability and will initially be facilitated by us

10. Teacher marketplace & community: our teacher employment marketplace is an online location for our teachers to find studios at which to teach and for studio owners to find certified teachers to employ. The community platform is generally localised for teachers to stay in touch with one another

11. Discount on trainings & workshops:
    the 20% discount only applies to those who maintain their teacher licence after gaining their Level 1 Teacher Certification. If you cancel your membership, the waiting period to be eligible again for this discount is 2 years after

    re-entering the licence system. 

12. Access to additional content and higher-level trainings: Access to refreshed sequences, advanced trainings, and professional development courses is only available to those who have successfully completed their Level 1 certification or higher.

13. Discount merchandise, props & walls: discounts are available to our teachers when joining, purchasing any of these products from us or our accredited representatives – Level 1 and above. The more qualified you are, the greater the discount offered

14. Summit discounts: discounts are available to our teachers when joining the summits – Level 1 and above. The more qualified you are, the greater the discount offered

15. Assist a certified teacher to gain experience: in the period between the completion of your course and your assessment for certification, you are allowed to spend time assisting a certified teacher in their classes (where available) to gain more experience with the wall, the Wolfe sequences & teaching protocols and honing your teaching skills. 16. Attend  Summit: The summit is a grand yearly meeting including master classes, new content, education sessions, CECs, social events, networking, and Trainer certification handouts. You are allowed to attend the annual Wolfe Wall Summit if your membership is current

17. Teach Wolfe Wall Yoga classes: after completing all the Essential course content and as preparation for your Level 1 assessment, you are allowed to teach Wolfe Yoga Wall classes. But you cannot call yourself a Certified Wolfe Yoga Wall teacher. Now you can apply for the Level 1 assessment. After you attain Level 1 status, you may teach all 8/24 initial Essential sequences as a Teacher.

18. Can guide lower-level teacher: a Level 1 teacher or above is allowed to provide guidance to a teacher with a lower level of training

19. Teach Align & /or Flow classes: Level 2 & 3 certified teachers may teach the sequences included in these trainings

20. Present small member workshops: Level 2 teachers and above may present small, in-house studio member workshops on a variety of topics as supplied by Wolfe Yoga

21. Present at update: Level 2 teachers and above may present new material and continuing education at a live event for other teachers

22. Online classes: teachers are allowed to teach online (streaming) classes, but they must complete a short upskilling course to learn how to do this effectively and do a special assessment to establish the quality of their presentation and teaching

23. Teach PT sessions: Wolfe Yoga Wall PT sessions are 1-2-1 sessions (Personal/Private Training)  and can be taught by a Level 2 teacher (as long as they have completed the Align certification) and above

24. Present or teach at the summit by invitation: at our teacher summits, Level 3 teachers and above may be invited to present new sequences and professional education sessions

25. Assist Trainer to gain experience: similar to assisting a class teacher, but here it is to gain experience in delivering teacher education

26. Provide mentoring: trainees, trainers and above are allowed and expected to mentor those who are junior to them by qualification

27. Eligible to lead Teacher training: Level 1 Trainers and above are eligible to be invited to lead Wolf Yoga Wall teacher training
