We felt that the inventor of the modern version of the rope wall lacked genuine recognition of his innovative work and that he deserves more credit for making this innovation available to the world.
 

Martin worked with  Kedric Wolfe and saw his genius up close.  As a result, Kedric praised his teacher training declaring that he was 'passing the baton' to Martin.
 

Martin was deeply moved by this and it made perfect sense to him to name the company in a way that would continue to honour Kedrick's invention.
